This Is Me:

My name is Michele Widerøe, and I’m Cuban, living in Norway. I’m a proud mom of two daughters. I started this collection because, as a mom, I’m tired of watching society impose unrealistic expectations, pressures, and standards on young girls — it starts so young, and it’s exhausting to witness.

At some point, I’d had enough. I wanted to create something bold and empowering—something that pushes back against those norms and reminds young people, especially girls, that it’s okay to stand up, say ‘F*You’ to expectations, and just be themselves. Many of the notebook titles came from conversations with my daughters—they’ve inspired me every step of the way.
